Bradley, a native of Greensboro, GA, moved to Greenville
in the fall of 2003 to attend Furman University. She graduated
from Furman in the spring of 2007 with a BA in Psychology along with
a concentration of coursework in Spanish. While at Furman, Ginger
tutored several ESOL students in Greenville County Elementary Schools.
She also served as a counselor for Camp Symonette, a summer camp for
children located in the Bahamas. In her free time, Ginger enjoys
traveling, playing tennis, swing dancing, and spending time with family
and friends.

of New York at Brooklyn College. Before moving to the south, Lisa
had the opportunity to work as a childcare assistant at her church’s
summer day camp and enrichment program for pre-school children in
Flushing, NY. She also provided tutoring services for high school
students at her church youth group in various subjects. Recently married,
Lisa and her husband, Robert, live in Mauldin with their Lab mix Short

Cianfarano was raised in the Upstate and has always had
a love for the arts. She received a BA in Visual Art from Lander University
in Greenwood, SC and is certified in Art Education. While in college
she was awarded the Mary Chisholm Excellence in Art Education Award.
Mrs. Cianfarano taught art for two years at New Prospect Elementary
School in Spartanburg and continues to create and explore art on her
own. She has held numerous personal art shows and has sold several
pieces in the Charleston area. She loves working with children and
sharing her passion for the arts. Corey currently lives in Simpsonville
with her husband, David, and their daughters, Clara and Ava, and their son, Max.

assisting pre-kindergarten and special needs children at Salmon River
Central School. She relocated to Greenville in 1999 and continued
down the Early Childhood path as an infant room teacher at a local

"Detra" Delesline was born in Charleston, SC
and moved to Greenville in 1991. She is a graduate of South Carolina
State University with a Bachelors Degree in Speech Pathology. She
began working in pre-school education in 1998. Her experience includes
working as an Assistant Teacher at the Roper Learning Center in Charleston,
SC where she developed motivating and stimulating activities to promote
physical and mental growth in pre-school children. Her favorite people

Dorothy Freeman has lived all over the United States, including: Georgia, California, Florida, and now South Carolina. She is a graduate of Furman with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a Master of Arts in Education. Miss Freeman is certified by the South Carolina Department of Education. She is a graduate of the Peace Center's Summer Instutute for Arts Integration in the Curriculum, and has also been intensively trained through the Upstate Writing Project. A featured guest Speaker at the 2007 South Carolina Council for Exceptional Children Conference, Miss Freeman has been invited to speak at various schools about creating a classroom community. In her spare time, she serves on the Furman University Annual Giving Council, volunteers for the Alliance for Quality Education and the Greenville Museum, and (most importantly!) plans her May 2009 wedding!

native of Hempstead, New York, Thresa Gaskin
earned her associate’s degree in liberal arts at Nassau Community
College in Garden City, New York. In 1984, she worked at Wallace Memorial
Day Care Center, where she helped establish a curriculum for the toddlers
and two-year-olds. In 1985, Thresa moved to Greenville and was immediately
hired as a K-3 assistant teacher. Since moving to this area, Thresa
has enjoyed working as lead teacher of children from infants to age
five. Over the past nineteen years, she has attended numerous continuing
education courses, including the First Steps Program, which resulted
in her South Carolina Early Childhood Credential. Thresa resides in
Greenville with her husband, Vince, and their sons, André and
Joseph, and is an active member of her church.

at a popular retail store. She quickly learned that her passion was

resides in Simpsonville with her husband, Henry, and their two beautiful

Kathy Jones holds a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Modern Languages with a Minor in Secondary Education
from Clemson University. She has studied French and Spanish since
middle school and has traveled in Europe, Canada and Mexico. Mrs.
Jones held highest honors in the French Department at Clemson as a
junior and earned the prestigious French Medal. After college she
worked translating French and Spanish at Michelin North America. She
then went on to develop and implement a K-7 FLES (Foreign Language
in the Elementary School) program at The Episcopal School of Knoxville.

worked with our investors as the general manager of Right Source.
In that capacity, he grew the education/learning services business,
opened five state-of-the-art technology learning centers, developed
and implemented the educational business plan, and managed global
sales and marketing initiatives and learning services. Brad also served
as the Vice President of Availant, Inc. in Cambridge, MA. He was responsible
for all aspects of running and developing the business including strategy,
direction, growth and profitability. He most recently owned and operated
a temporary staffing agency in Cape Cod. A graduate of Boston College,
Brad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Business
Administration.

Pariseau relocated to Greenville in 1998. She is a graduate

Center with all ages before becoming the teacher of their certified

Witte has childcare experience with children ages infant through age seven,
and worked in the After School program at the YMCA. She also served
as a consistent babysitter for several local families. In her spare

Sharon Young
Preppers
Sharon Young was born and raised in Greenville, SC. She attended USC Upstate and recieved a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Child Psychology. Sharon has worked with children from birth to age 13, as well as in management as an assistant director. Since 2004 she has worked as an early interventionist and service coordinator. Sharon missed working with children in a group setting and decided to get back in the classroom. She is currently going back to school to pursue her Master's degree.

Ginger
Bradley, a native of Greensboro, GA, moved to Greenville
in the fall of 2003 to attend Furman University. She graduated
from Furman in the spring of 2007 with a BA in Psychology along with
a concentration of coursework in Spanish. While at Furman, Ginger
tutored several ESOL students in Greenville County Elementary Schools.
She also served as a counselor for Camp Symonette, a summer camp for
children located in the Bahamas. In her free time, Ginger enjoys
traveling, playing tennis, swing dancing, and spending time with family
and friends. 
A
native of Connecticut, Diane and her husband moved to New
Jersey to raise their family. Diane has 4 children and 9 grandchildren.
She studied Early Childhood Education at Centenary
College after her 4th child was born. She has taught both 3
and 4 year olds in New Jersey for over 25 years and retired in 2005.
Diane and her husband now reside in Greenville, SC. Diane enjoys
sewing, reading, and working out at the gym. Diane's true passions
are spending time with her grandchildren and teaching young children.
Originally
from New York City, Lisa Chapman relocated
to Greenville, SC in 2001. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary
Education with a minor in Political Science from The City University
of New York at Brooklyn College. Before moving to the south, Lisa
had the opportunity to work as a childcare assistant at her church’s
summer day camp and enrichment program for pre-school children in
Flushing, NY. She also provided tutoring services for high school
students at her church youth group in various subjects. Recently married,
Lisa and her husband, Robert, live in Mauldin with their Lab mix Short
Round. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, scrapbooking and watching
movies.
Corey
Cianfarano was raised in the Upstate and has always had
a love for the arts. She received a BA in Visual Art from Lander University
in Greenwood, SC and is certified in Art Education. While in college
she was awarded the Mary Chisholm Excellence in Art Education Award.
Mrs. Cianfarano taught art for two years at New Prospect Elementary
School in Spartanburg and continues to create and explore art on her
own. She has held numerous personal art shows and has sold several
pieces in the Charleston area. She loves working with children and
sharing her passion for the arts. Corey currently lives in Simpsonville
with her husband, David, and their daughters, Clara and Ava, and their son, Max.
Rae
Coppola moved to Greenville from New Hampshire in December
2006. She received an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education
from Becker College and has worked in the field of early childhood
education since 1990 with children ranging in age from infants to
five year olds. Rae has two children, Morgan and Nicholas.
Jill
DeCastro was born and raised in Upstate New York and
is a graduate of Salmon River Central School. She is currently pursuing
an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development from Greenville
Technical College, and has already earned an Early Childhood Credential
from Greenville Tech. Mrs. DeCastro began her Early Childhood career
assisting pre-kindergarten and special needs children at Salmon River
Central School. She relocated to Greenville in 1999 and continued
down the Early Childhood path as an infant room teacher at a local
childcare center. Jill and her husband, Tony, reside in Greenville
with their son, Dylan.
Detrula
"Detra" Delesline was born in Charleston, SC
and moved to Greenville in 1991. She is a graduate of South Carolina
State University with a Bachelors Degree in Speech Pathology. She
began working in pre-school education in 1998. Her experience includes
working as an Assistant Teacher at the Roper Learning Center in Charleston,
SC where she developed motivating and stimulating activities to promote
physical and mental growth in pre-school children. Her favorite people
are children because she enjoys having every opportunity to show them
something great! Detra and her husband Keith reside in Simpsonville
with their daughter, Erin.
Katherine
Dillehay was born and raised in Oxford, North Carolina
and moved to Greenville in July 2005. She received her Associates
Degree in Early Childhood Education from Vance-Granville Community
College. Miss Dillehay has worked with children ranging from infants
to five year olds since 1998. She also served as the Director of Summer
Camp for a childcare center in North Carolina. Miss Dillehay enjoys
reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Michelle
Doyle is a native of Johnson City, TN. She recently completed
her Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from Converse
College. She was previously employed by Princeton Prep, where she
taught in a three year old classroom. Ms. Doyle plans to engage her
love of volleyball by pursuing a coaching position with clubs in the
area. Ms. Doyle enjoys reading, cooking, and exercising.
Tracy
Finley is originally from Laurens, SC and currently lives
in Greenville. She has worked in pre-school education since 1998.
Most of her experience has been with children ages two and three.
Tracy holds certifications in both nursing and early childhood education.
She and her husband, David, have three children, Tyler, Kristen and
Justin. Their family attends Southside Fellowship Church. Tracy enjoys
the beach, doing crafts and spending time with her family.
Stacey
Garrett is a native of Greenville, SC. She is a graduate
of the University of South Carolina at Spartanburg where she earned
a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She is currently pursuing her teaching certification from the South Carolina Department of Education. Mrs. Garrett has been teaching since 2001
and has worked with children ranging from infants through four year olds. Prior to joining Palmetto Prep, she worked as a Pre-3 and K-3 teacher at a local childcare center for 2-1/2 years.
Stacey and her husband reside in Greer with their two sons, Jacob
and Dylan.
A
native of Hempstead, New York, Thresa Gaskin
earned her associate’s degree in liberal arts at Nassau Community
College in Garden City, New York. In 1984, she worked at Wallace Memorial
Day Care Center, where she helped establish a curriculum for the toddlers
and two-year-olds. In 1985, Thresa moved to Greenville and was immediately
hired as a K-3 assistant teacher. Since moving to this area, Thresa
has enjoyed working as lead teacher of children from infants to age
five. Over the past nineteen years, she has attended numerous continuing
education courses, including the First Steps Program, which resulted
in her South Carolina Early Childhood Credential. Thresa resides in
Greenville with her husband, Vince, and their sons, André and
Joseph, and is an active member of her church. 
Janice
Hall was born and raised in northern Kentucky and is a
graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Park Hills, KY. She worked in the
Beechwood School District for over 15 years, and served as the Food
Service Director for the last six years before she retired. Janice
and her husband, Dan, moved to South Carolina in July of 2003 and
are very happy to be near their two sons and daughters-in-law and
their three very special grandchildren.
Brenda
Hammonds has lived in the Mauldin/Simpsonville area
since 1985. She graduated from Hillcrest High School and worked for
the Greenville County School District for four years in the dietary
department. She also worked at Riverside Nursing Center and Westside
Nursing Center for five years. Brenda lives in Pelzer with her husband,
Ralph. She has a daughter, Joy, a son, Daniel, and five grandchildren.
Michelle
Irby was born here in Greenville, but raised in California. After
graduating from high school, she realized how much she missed the south
and chose to move back. She obtained her South Carolina Early Childhood
Credential in August 2006, and is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood
Education from Greenville Technical College. Ms. Irby has enjoyed working
with infants and toddlers since 2002. In her spare time, she loves reading,
writing, watching movies and babysitting. Michelle also keeps busy by spending
lots of quality time with friends, family and her 5 year old son, Corey.
Alice
Jackson is a native of Simpsonville and a graduate
of Hillcrest High School. Miss Jackson is currently pursuing a Nursing
degree from Greenville Technical College. She has extensive experience
in the child care field and has worked as a private nanny for a family
in Simpsonville. Miss Jackson's hobbies include spending time with
family and friends, shopping, and watching movies.
Katherine
James was born and raised in Northern New Jersey, but always
had a place in her heart for some good ol’ "Southern Hospitality."
She graduated from Clemson University in 1997 ("Go Tigers!"),
and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. Before
pursuing a career in education, Katherine was an assistant manager
at a popular retail store. She quickly learned that her passion was
meant to be in the classroom. Katherine is certified with the South
Carolina Department of Education and has been teaching third grade
for the School District of Greenville County since 2000. She currently
resides in Simpsonville with her husband, Henry, and their two beautiful
girls, Hannah and Emma. When Katherine is not teaching, she stays
busy spending quality time with her family and friends.
Edie
Jennings is a native of Greenville, S.C., and has worked
in the field of Child Development since 1984. Edie served as a Toddler
Room teacher for 23 years and as the Assistant Director at a local
church daycare for 16 years. She has earned numerous credit hours
in Early Childhood Development. Edie and her husband, Keith have two
children and three beautiful grandchildren.
A
Greenville native and graduate of Christ Church Episcopal School,
Kathy Jones holds a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Modern Languages with a Minor in Secondary Education
from Clemson University. She has studied French and Spanish since
middle school and has traveled in Europe, Canada and Mexico. Mrs.
Jones held highest honors in the French Department at Clemson as a
junior and earned the prestigious French Medal. After college she
worked translating French and Spanish at Michelin North America. She
then went on to develop and implement a K-7 FLES (Foreign Language
in the Elementary School) program at The Episcopal School of Knoxville.
Kathy and her husband, Kevin, live in Simpsonville with their son,
Will.
Jessica
LaBombard was born and raised in Euclid, Ohio. She is currently
pursuing a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Lee University
in Cleveland, Tennessee. Jessica has always had a love for children and
teaching, and has worked in the education field since 1997. She served as
a teacher assistant at a pre-school in Michigan, and worked in an after
school program at Lee University. Jessica was also employed by one family
as a nanny for nine years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with
her husband, traveling, singing and sewing.
Kelly
Latham is a Greenville native and a graduate of Greenville
High School. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education
from Lander University as well as a Master’s degree in Teaching
English to Speakers of Other Languages from Furman University. Mrs.
Latham is certified with the South Carolina Department of Education
and trained in the Orton-Gillingham Approach. She began teaching in 2001 and has experience teaching both first and second
grades. She resides in Greenville with her husband, Will.
Meribeth
Metcalf grew up in Ypsilanti, Michigan. She graduated from
Faith Way Baptist High School and then completed a three year associate
degree in Child Care at Bob Jones University. After earning her degree,
Miss Metcalf returned to Michigan and taught preschool at a Bright
Horizons childcare center. She has experience with children ages infant
to five years old. In her spare time, Miss Metcalf enjoys spending
time with her boyfriend Tim, playing with her chocolate lab 'Clay',
and shopping.
Annette
Mitchell was born and raised in California, then moved
to Arkansas while in high school. She relocated to Greenville in December
2006. Miss Mitchell has worked in childcare facilities since 1999
in areas ranging from infants to lead Pre-K teacher to assistant director.
She received her Child Development Associate degree in 2002 from Arkansas
State University and plans to pursue a Bachelors degree in education
and child psychology. Miss Mitchell has a son, Braden, and a daughter,
Mallory "Maui".
Sarah
Mosley was born in Greenville S.C. and graduated from
Greenville High. She has worked in the field of child development
since 1998. Ms. Mosley has worked with children of all ages and will
be taking Early Childhood Education classes at Greenville Technical
College beginning in the fall of 2006.
Joy
Motz was born and raised in Greenville, SC. She is currently
pursuing a bachelor's degree in social work from Limestone College. Mrs.
Motz has worked in childcare since 1999. She has served as an after-school
teacher at the Eastside family YMCA and most recently held the position
of After-School Site-Director and Day Camp Director. She loves to travel
and work with children.
Nancy
Nelson was raised in Florence, SC and received a B.S. degree
from Francis Marion University. She has childcare experience from
Berea First Baptist Child Development Center and owned and operated
her own in-home day care center for several years. She also spent
time raising her own children as a stay at home mom while running
a home-based business. Nancy enjoys finding unique experiences for
herself and her children, Monica, Levi and Landon. She loves crafts
and is active at her church, Advent UMC. 
BJ
Norris is a Greenville native and a graduate of Riverside High
School. She is currently enrolled at USC-Upstate pursuing a degree in Special
Education and Elementary Education. She previously worked in two different
childcare centers with toddlers, two year olds and kindergartners. In her
spare time she enjoys babysitting, spending time with her fiance, family,
and friends.
Brad
Pariseau is Palmetto Prep’s general manager. He previously
worked with our investors as the general manager of Right Source.
In that capacity, he grew the education/learning services business,
opened five state-of-the-art technology learning centers, developed
and implemented the educational business plan, and managed global
sales and marketing initiatives and learning services. Brad also served
as the Vice President of Availant, Inc. in Cambridge, MA. He was responsible
for all aspects of running and developing the business including strategy,
direction, growth and profitability. He most recently owned and operated
a temporary staffing agency in Cape Cod. A graduate of Boston College,
Brad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Business
Administration. 
A
native of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, Lee
Pariseau relocated to Greenville in 1998. She is a graduate
of Winthrop University who holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary
Education. During her undergraduate studies she was named to the Dean’s
List. Mrs. Pariseau began working at Classy Kids Child Development
Center with all ages before becoming the teacher of their certified
Kindergarten program. She then became the Center Director of the Classy
Kids location in Simpsonville. Lee currently lives in Simpsonville
with her husband, Brad, and her son, Jake.
Allison
Ringer grew up in Greenville, SC and graduated from Southside
Christian School in 2002. She received a Bachelor of Music in Vocal
Performance from Queens University of Charlotte in Charlotte, NC.
She then moved back to the Upstate where she married her husband,
Ryan, in September of 2006. Allison has worked as a nanny for several
Charlotte and Greenville area families during her high school and
college careers. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their
spoiled cat, Harry, as well as singing at Horizon Church and performing
original compositions at various area open mic nights. In her spare
time, Allison enjoys baking, decorating, reading, and yoga. 
Jennifer
Riservato is a native of Greenville and a graduate of Mauldin
High School. She has worked in childcare development since 1999 with
children ranging in age from infants to after schoolers. Mrs. Riservato
is currently attending Greenville Technical College where she is earning
transferable course work towards a degree in Early Childhood Education.
Her hobbies include swimming, reading and going to the movies.
Ashley
Ross was born and raised in Greenville, SC. She received
her B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Winthrop University and
has taught kindergarten since 2000 in Greenville County Schools. Ashley
and her husband, Chris, reside in Greenville with their two sons,
Alex and Carson. Ashley loves reading, going to the beach, and spending
time with her family and friends. 
Melissa
Sharpless grew up in Sumter, South Carolina and graduated
from Laurence Manning Academy. She received a BA degree in Elementary
Education from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. Mrs.
Sharpless taught pre-school in Sumter for three years before moving
to Greenville. She taught K4 for four years at Trinity Methodist Kindergarten.
Melissa resides in Greer with her husband, James, daughter, Ella Grace,
and their cat, Jake.
Corrie
Smith is a native of the Upstate yet lived in the Charleston/Goose
Creek area of S.C. for 15 years with her husband and two sons. She
relocated to Greenville in 1998. Mrs. Smith worked in childcare for
eight years in the North Charleston/Summerville area and was employed
in the Berkeley County School District for four years. She currently
lives in Taylors with her two sons.
Laura
Stouffer was born in Zion, Illinois and moved to Alabama in 1990.
She graduated from Cornerstone Christian High School in 2001, and earned
a degree in education from Bob Jones University in 2005. She has been
working with children since she was 14 years old in a variety of settings.
She served as K4 teacher’s aide in 2001. In her spare time, Laura
loves to spend time with her husband, family and friends.
Amy
Taylor, a South Carolina native, holds a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Music Therapy with a double major in Psychology from Charleston
Southern University. Before relocating to the Upstate in 1998, she
worked in the Chattanooga public school system. For several years,
she worked for Greenville County as an Early Interventionist, and
taught children in an Applied Behavioral Analysis program while running
a Music Therapy private practice. Mrs. Taylor was a stay at home mom
for five years during which she ran a home based business and volunteered
in her children’s school. Amy lives in Simpsonville with her
husband, Gary, their two children, Tristan and Sydney, and their dog,
Rori. They enjoy spending time at the beach, hiking, swimming and
going to Disney World.
Shannon
Taylor is a Greenville native and graduate of Riverside High
School. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in early Childhood Education
from Columbia College. She taught 5-K at Oakview Elementary School in Greenville.
Mrs. Taylor’s hobbies are singing on the Praise Team at her church
and spending time with her family and her husband, Derrick.
Greg
Wardlaw hails from Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina
and has worked in the restaurant business for seven years. Mr. Wardlaw
received a Bachelor’s degree in Theatrical Arts from the University
of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. His primary hobby is re-enacting
the middle ages with the Society of Creative Anachronists, where his
interests include sword fighting, poetry, cooking, creating artistic
food, costuming, and period theatre. He currently lives in Greenville
with his son, Kit. 
Ashley
Waters was born and raised on Long Island, New York.
She is a graduate of Furman University where she earned a Bachelor
of Arts in History and a Master of Arts in Education. Mrs. Waters
is certified with the South Carolina Department of Education and has
been trained in the Orton-Gillingham Approach. She has been teaching
First Grade since 2002. Mrs. Waters and her husband, Gabe, reside
in Greenville.
Laura
